Rule 0: Be Mads! :) Sure, I'm moderating myself, but I'm filling out these rules to outline the general standards I try to hold myself to. I'm actually cool with y'all reporting me to myself if I genuinely drop the ball and want me to reconsider something.
No discrimination and/or bigotry of any kind against any marginalized groups. Racism, xenophobia, queerphobia, sexism, and everything else of the sort is not permitted.
No posting or boosting NSFW content without a content warning. This includes stuff along the lines of nudity and gore.
Avoid "reply guy" type behavior. This is everything from being annoying about suggesting Linux when somebody's venting about Windows to trying to play devil's advocate in the comments on someone's story of experiencing discrimination.
Try to include accurate, useful alt text on posts with media. Perfection isn't really possible, but aim for being as consistent as possible.
Label sensitive topics with CWs as appropriate. Try to share links to posts with an added CW if it'd be appropriate to have one in the context. This is all in relation to stuff like political news, descriptions of hateful/discriminatory rhetoric, etc.
