Published rules

• You may not threaten violence against an individual or a group of people. The glorification of violence is also prohibited.
• You may not threaten or promote terrorism or violent extremism. We define as violent extremism the act of targeting civilians with violence and/or the promotion of violence as a means to further a cause.
• We have zero tolerance towards any material that features or promotes child sexual exploitation. This may include media, text, illustrated, or computer-generated images. You may also not contribute to victimization of children through the promotion or glorification of child sexual exploitation.
• You may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so. We prohibit behavior that harasses or intimidates, or is otherwise intended to shame or degrade others.
• You may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.
• You may not promote or encourage suicide or self-harm. However, sharing personal experiences, coping mechanisms, resources, research and education for suicide prevention will be allowed.
• Media that depicts graphic violence or consensually produced adult content may be shared within your posts, provided that you mark this media with an adequate [CW] Content Warning. However, depictions of sexual violence, gratuitous gore, and hateful imagery will always be forbidden.
• You may not use this service for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities. This includes selling, buying, or facilitating transactions in illegal goods or services, as well as certain types of regulated goods or services.
• You may not publish or post other people's private information without their express authorization and permission, nor threaten to do so. The same rule applies for images and videos, but with exceptions for those that are intended to further public discourse on issues or events of public interest.

• You may not share synthetic, manipulated, or out-of-context media that is significantly and deceptively altered, manipulated, fabricated, shared in a deceptive manner or with false context if it is likely to result in widespread confusion or harm public safety. Non-confusing satire is allowed.
• You may not use another’s trademark in a way that may mislead or confuse people about your affiliation with it. You may however use a trademark in a way that is outside the scope of the trademark registration or in a nominative or other fair use manner.
